Boise River Greenbelt Engagement Photos | Lauren & Aaron

One of the first questions I ask couples planning their engagement photos in Boise is to describe some of the activities they love doing together and any locations that are important to them. This opens the conversation to creating something personal for their engagement photos together and that’s what we did for Lauren and Aaron’s engagement photos along the Boise River Greenbelt.

When we first chatted last summer, Lauren and Aaron were soaking up every hour they could enjoying the outdoors in Idaho. In fact, when we first met via video chat, they joined the conversation from a campsite! To capture some engagement photos for them, I knew I wanted to take advantage of something they love doing outside. We chose to start their engagement session along the Boise River Greenbelt, where they love walking and biking when the weather is nice! We finished their photos as the sun went down in the foothills, an iconic Boise landscape.

Making beautiful photographs of this season together

We ended up having a beautiful winter day for Lauren and Aaron’s engagement photos in Boise. It was a sunny weekend in February that felt a little like spring, the sun out in full force for the last couple hours of the day. Lauren and Aaron embraced the process and trusted us to make some beautiful photographs of them. I love that you can tell in these photos how much they enjoy each other’s company, that they make each other laugh, and that doing life together is the best.
