Wedding Photography FAQ: Should I Hire a Photographer who has Photographed at my Venue?

No, You don't need to!

As professional photographers, we show to every session and wedding day ready to make the judgment calls necessary to get amazing images based on our years of experience and expertise. Showing up at a new venue and finding photo locations is no problem!

Seasoned photographers will bring along all the equipment they need to get the shot in different locations and different lighting scenarios, so there’s no need to worry.

If it makes you more comfortable, you can always ask your photographer to accompany you on your final venue walkthrough with your planner, or to schedule a venue visit before the wedding day!

I'm a Co-founder and Lead Photographer at Studio Ostendo.

Wedding photography is my heartbeat. For me, it holds the perfect tension between creativity and authenticity, observation and connection. In front of my camera clients transform to friends, and behind it you'll usually find me tearing up, cheering you on, or holding my breath because of the raw goodness of the moment at hand.
