Lexie and Braden met us downtown for their engagement photos in Boise. They were going for a city date night feel, and love going out together in Boise. As Boise photographers, we love when couples choose locations for their photos that feel true to them. We believe it’s possible to capture photos that breathe connection regardless of the location. Our favorite images from an engagement session come from the moments when a couple is focused on each other instead of us or their surroundings.
One of the date night locations Lexie and Braden frequent is The Lively in Boise. After taking some engagement photos at the Idaho State Capitol building, we walked with them around the city streets of Boise, ending up at The Lively to close the night together.
Walking around downtown Boise with Lexie and Braden was the perfect way to get to know them a little better before their Boise wedding next year! They are easy going and share a relatable sense of humor. As we photographed them in Boise, we could tell how easily they make each other laugh, and how much they genuinely enjoy spending time together.
