Reminders for Engagement Photos at Bogus Basin

Because Bogus Basin is a mountain photo location, here are some things to keep in mind for your engagement photos.

With the elevation change, temperatures at Bogus are colder than downtown Boise. Bring back up layers and warm walking shoes if wearing more formal attire for your engagement session at Bogus.
Driving up the mountain takes extra time, especially in the winter. When the road is clear, it can take between 35 and 50 minutes to drive to the main parking lot at Bogus. During the winter months, plan for a longer drive with traffic and snow.
As with any nature photo location, it’s important to honor the natural resources and preservation of land. During your engagement photo session, it’s okay to bring props or use locations as long as we leave nothing behind, leave the land in the same condition we found it, and keep off any areas marked for preservation.
