Elopement Planning

In the weeks or months leading up to your elopement, I’ll send you an elopement questionnaire to gather all the details I need. I’ll work with you to create a custom timeline that aligns with the hopes you have for the day.

Do you travel for Elopements?

Of course! Any travel costs will be included in your custom elopement photography collection. McCall, Stanley, Sun Valley, Teton Valley—Idaho has jaw dropping locations to elope, and if you want to venture outside of Idaho, I’d love to come along

What is an elopement?

While the old connotation of an elopement involved running away to get married in secret, modern elopements are non-traditional, intimate weddings (10 people or less) where couples choose a wedding format and destination focused on experiences and their personal story.

Have you photographed an elopement in my location?

Sometimes I have and sometimes I haven’t! As a photographer, I work in new locations all the time and include location scouting in my creative process and travel plans.

I don’t want a huge photoshoot—how does that work with elopement photography?

Our elopement photography plans will mirror your hopes for the day. If you want to set aside time for photos in a stunning location, we can! If you’d prefer a documentary style approach for the majority of your elopement, we’ll talk about the experiences you want to include and how I’ll come along to photograph them.

What happens if the weather is terrible for my elopement?

Due to the nature of my job and schedule, I don’t reschedule elopements due to weather. Instead, I’ll embrace whatever the day brings and encourage you to do the same!

Can you recommend vendors to help with my elopement?

If you choose to work with a planner for your elopement, they’ll be the one to recommend specific vendors to help with your elopement when applicable. If not, I’d love to share vendor recommendations with you!

Can we hire you for just an adventure session?

Yes! If you’re not getting married but want to travel to a beautiful destination for photos or bring me along to capture an experience-focused date with your love, I’d love to come along! Inquire below and include a message about an adventure session instead of an elopement!
